Effective Date: September 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how RunBy Technologies Inc. ("RunBy," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on the RunBy website and web application. It applies in addition to our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and return with later requests. Cookies can keep you signed in and remember settings between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage, retain a value in your browser without sending it with every request.
2. What We Use
We currently use a small number of cookies and browser-storage values to operate the Service and remember choices you make.
2.1 Strictly Necessary
- Authentication and session cookies. Supabase, our authentication provider, issues these cookies to keep you signed in, refresh your session, and protect authenticated requests. Without them, you cannot sign in or use an authenticated workspace.
2.2 Preferences and Functionality
- Last selected workspace. The
last-selected-teamcookie remembers the workspace you chose so we can return you to it. It lasts for up to 30 days. - Sidebar state. The
sidebar_statecookie remembers whether you expanded or collapsed the navigation sidebar. It lasts for up to 7 days. - Display preferences. Browser storage may remember a display choice you make, such as light or dark appearance, so the Service can apply it on later visits.
3. What We Do Not Use
We do not currently set advertising cookies, use third-party or cross-site tracking technologies, or run a web analytics provider. We do not sell cookie or browser-storage data.
Because the cookies we currently set are strictly necessary or remember a preference you selected, we do not display a cookie consent banner. Before introducing analytics, advertising, or another non-essential storage technology, we will update this Policy and request consent where required.
4. How Long Cookies Last
Authentication cookies expire according to the session and security settings applied by our authentication provider and may be removed when you sign out. The workspace and sidebar durations are listed in Section 2. Display preferences remain until their configured expiry, you change the preference, or you clear your browser data.
5. Managing Browser Data
You can inspect, delete, or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Most browsers allow this per site. Blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in. Removing a preference cookie or storage value is harmless; the Service will use its default until you make that choice again.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. If a change introduces a non-essential cookie or similar technology, we will request consent before using it where applicable law requires.
